The Pony Round Up
On the 14th and 16th of november 2008 the farmers at LLanfairfechen went up into the Carneddau hillside
to round up the wild ponies,and bring them down into the village.This is a yearly event which gives the
farmers a chance to check them over for any sign of illness,and also sort out which 0nes will be sold.
At one time the farmers would have to walk up and down the Carneddau hillside or ride horses to collect
them,but now they use quads and motorbikes to do the task.
