Blacknecked Cross
(T.C.Cyrtopsis x T.C.Occellatus)
The Blacknecked cross has a grey head with black stripes on it,
the neck is black, they have a green body with yellow and orange stripe down their
side, and a white underside. They give birth to live young in the August, September and
October months, and can have between 5 and 50 young.
Like all Garters they like earth worms,small frogs, and other small amphibians.
The females can reach approximatly 35" in length ,but like most garters the males are
smaller. They can be found in the southern states of America, and the tip of Guatemala.
