Flame Garter (Thamnophis sirtalis)
The Flame Garter is a beautiful snake to look at, the Flame is a Erythristic common which means high in color.
Flames are high in red, and can be nearly totally red. Their diet is made up of earthworms, frogs, toads,
and small rodents.
They can be found down the East of Canada, and the Southeast of the United States. The female can grow up
to 3 feet, and the males about 30 inches. The female will give birth to between 5 and 50 live young.
